The beach concert area will be closed all day Wednesday in advance of the concert, officials said.
The concert, sponsored by Thunder 106 FM and Value City Furniture, also benefits St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Adkins has long been a supporter of St. Jude, which treats children battling life-threatening diseases, in particular childhood cancer, without charging families for treatment, travel, housing and food, the hospital says.

In addition to Adkins, the concert features David Nail and Love & Theft; the opening acts are Steve Moakler, Drew Baldridge and Casey Donahew, performing unique power acoustic sets.
There will be drinks available, including a variety of Coca-Cola products, and Coors Light or Copa Di Vino for the over-21 crowd with proper identification.
The concert begins at 7 p.m., with gates opening at 5 p.m. Concertgoers can bring beach chairs and towels, but no coolers, no alcohol, no glass (bottles or otherwise), no tents, no umbrellas or pets will be permitted, according to concert information.
The concert will be held rain or shine; the National Weather Service is predicting a 20 percent chance of showers Wednesday evening, so you may want to bring a raincoat or a poncho to keep dry.
Tickets, which are $25, can be purchased by clicking here. All seating is general admission and children age 5 or younger do not need tickets.
