Spirits of 1776: South Jersey Ghost Research Coming to the Lacey Library

FORKED RIVER – In honor of America’s 250^th anniversary, join South Jersey Ghost Research as they reflect on the locations they have visited related to the American Revolution at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 14 at the Lacey Branch of the Ocean County Library.

New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Delaware were states in the crossroads of the American Revolution. South Jersey Ghost Research (SJGR) has investigated dozens of sites throughout the crossroads and uncovered a past that is manifesting in the present – apparitions, voices, soldiers, militia, nurses, merchants, generals, everyday people of another century, another life, another world who remain in our midst today. Where are they? What are they saying? What do they seek? Learn about these phenomena and where they fit into our history with the experts from SJGR.

SJGR has conducted investigations since 1955. According to their mission statement, their goal is to “aid any individuals having problems dealing with or understanding a situation in their home or business… researching the situation and educating them as to the nature of their haunting as well as giving them the information and understanding to create a livable resolution for the person and the spirit.”

This program is for teens and adults.
