Summer Fun In Downtown Toms River: See What's On Tap This Week
Classic cars, a summer festival and town meetings: It's a busy week in Toms River.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — It's a busy week in Toms River, with food and fun along with town meetings to take in.
The Summer in the Street festival is set for Saturday, July 15, from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Washington Street.
It promises food trucks, merchandise vendors, and live entertainment. There will be kids' rides and you can try your skills at the Wreck Your Pallet hatchet throwing trailer. The bands set to perform are from The Music Academy, The Smirks, and Wrong Exit. There will be a beer and wine garden provided by Toms River Volunteer Fire Company #1.

On Wednesday, the Township Council meets at 6 p.m. The agenda was not yet available on Sunday.
The Toms River Regional Board of Education holds its committee meetings on Wednesday, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The committee meetings can be watched online.

In addition on Wednesday night, downtown Toms River will be busy with the Cruisin’ Downtown vintage car show. It runs from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. and Washington Street will be lined with classic cars. There will be live entertainment and DJ. Downtown restaurants and businesses will be open.
At the same time Wednesday night, the Sip & Shop Splash Summer Vendor Event will take place at Garden State Distillery, where shopping and socializing meet refreshing drinks and a vibrant atmosphere.
It also is set for 6 p.m.-9 p.m. and will include local vendors offering an array of unique products, such as handmade crafts, artisanal foods, one-of-a-kind jewelry, home decor, and so much more! Perfect for finding that special summer gift or simply treating yourself to something new.
