Toms River Mother Charged In Son's DUI Crash Won $1M In Lottery
Jacquelin Latronico and her husband won in December 2013, according to the N.J. Lottery.

The Toms River woman who was charged Wednesday in connection with her son’s second DUI offense in 10 hours won a $1 million Mega Millions prize in December 2013.
Jacquelin Latronico, 51 of Raymond Avenue, and her husband, Joe, were revealed as winners by New Jersey Lottery officials in February 2014, according to the N.J. Lottery. The ticket for the $648 million Dec. 17, 2013, drawing matched the five numbers but not the Megaball number.
Jacquelin Latronico is charged with allowing her son, Nicholas Corsair, 19, to operate a motor vehicle while under the influence of suspected narcotics in connection with a hit-and-run crash that occurred about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Toms River Police spokesman Ralph Stocco said Thursday.

That crash, at Route 9 and Whitty Road, involved a pickup truck driven by Corsair that rear-ended a Honda Civic and then fled the scene, Stocco said. It happened in heavy traffic that resulted from repair work necessitated by a crash less than 10 hours earlier, Stocco said, where a 2007 Infiniti driven by Corsair hit and significantly damaged a utility pole on Route 9. Corsair was charged with driving under the influence as a result of suspected illicit drug use in that crash, Stocco said.
Additionally, Robert Latronico, 23, who appears to be Corsair’s half-brother, was charged with heroin possession and arrested on five outstanding warrants, Stocco said.
