Toms River Motorcyclist Dies After Crash: Police
The man died of his injuries after he was taken to the hospital, police said.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — A Toms River man died overnight Thursday after a collision between a motorcycle and a car in the Green Island section of town, Toms River police said Friday.
Zachary Kane, 26, of Bayview Drive, was taken by medevac to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, for treatment of injuries suffered in the crash, which happened about 10:15 p.m., said Ralph Stocco, spokesman for the Toms River Police Department.
Kane died early Friday morning, Stocco said.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Wave Way and Harbor View Lane, Stocco said.
Kane was eastbound on Wave Way on a 2012 Yamaha motorcycle; a 2009 Nissan Altima driven by a 17-year-old male from Toms River was southbound on Harbor View Lane, and the two vehicles collided in the intersection, he said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, Stocco said.
