ICE HOCKEY: Toms River Schools To Be Represented in All-Star Contest

All three Toms River High School's will send players to all-star game.

Toms River will be the most-respresented town in the Shore Conference all-star game.

Players from all three schools will be going to the game played between seniors on Sunday, Mar. 20 at 5 p.m. at Gold Coast Arena in Wall.

Toms River South will be sporting the most players after winning the Shore 'B' regular season division and reaching the semi-finals of the Handchen Cup.

The Indians captain Jay Malone, who was recently named the Shore 'B' Most Valuable Player, will be the only forward in maroon after leading the Indians to another successful season.

Chris Piaggio and Chris Decio will also represent Toms River South on the defensive side of the blue line.

Toms River South fell to top-seeded Randolph in the Public 'A' semi-finals quaterfinals, 1-0.

Defensemen Mitch Crenshaw and Sean Wkiatek will represent Toms River North and Toms River East, respecitvley. Neither team qualified for their conference or state tournaments.
