Toms River Shakespeare Festival Seeks Support For 2nd Season
The festival, launched in 2017, thrives solely on public donations and needs help to present "A Midsummer Night's Dream" this year.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — If you are a theatre fan, or if you are a Shakespeare fan, the Toms River Shakespeare Festival is looking for your support.
The festival is working on its second season. In 2017, the festival launched with prformances of "The Tempest" at Huddy Park and in Ortley Beach. The free festival, the brainchild of Toms River native Lori Garrabrant, is part of ongoing efforts to bring more activities and art to Toms River.
This year's production is scheduled to be "A Midsummer Night's Dream," but the organization is seeking donor support. The event is scheduled July 19 through Aug. 12 on the weekends, according to the website.

"Your generous donations and support guided us to a thrilling and wonderfully successful inaugural season last summer and we want to continue that journey and establish TRSF as an annual event in Toms River."
The current goal is to raise $17,000 by May 19, 2018, the post said.
