Wallet Theft Tips Sought By Toms River Police

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Toms River police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a person who stole a wallet out of a person's cart in a store in Toms River.

The police department posted a video to the department's Facebook page, showing the person taking the wallet while the victim's back was turned.

"Often suspects are recognized by factors other than an image of their face," police said. "Pay attention to shoes, clothing and mannerisms as they may assist in identification."
