Water Main Leak Being Repaired In Toms River

The repair work is disrupting traffic near the Ocean County Mall, Suez officials said.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Crews from Suez water company are working to repair a water leak along Bay Avenue near the Ocean County Mall on Friday evening, a company spokeswoman said.

The repair is disrupting traffic in the westbound lanes of Bay Avenue, said Jane Kunka, Suez spokeswoman. The repairs are anticipated to be completed by about 9 p.m., she said.

Police officers are on site directing traffic with a one-lane traffic shift.
