Wednesday Night Live Music Series in Toms River

New this year, Toms River offers a concert series every Wednesday through July and August.

The concerts are held on Washington Street in Downtown Toms River and begin at 6 p.m. with two acts every Wednesday. 

The Punks and The Nerds played on July 6 and the schedule for the next five concerts are listed on the Downtown Toms River website. 

• July 20: 6 p.m. The Kokomos, 7 p.m. Sounds of the Street
• July 27: 6 p.m. Eryn Shewel, 7 p.m. The Soul Project
• August 3: 6 p.m. The Grinding Gears, 7 p.m. The Matt O'Ree Band
• August 17: 6 p.m. The Music Academy, 7 p.m. David Cedeno & His Salsa Orchestra
• August 24: 6 p.m. Winding River, 7 p.m. XL Band

Every second Wednesday of the month from May through September Toms River also hosts a "Cruisin Downtown" event from 6 to 9 p.m. on Washington Street filled with classic cars and motorcycles.
