Bloomingdale Police Make Warrant Arrests, Assist Resident With Broken Ankle
Police blotter: West Milford man issued multiple motor vehicle summons.

Bloomingdale Police made two arrests last week for outstanding warrants and issued a summons to a West Milford man for driving with a suspended license and other motor vehicle violations.
Courtney White, 27, of , was arrested on Jan. 31 for allegedly having several outstanding warrants from different police departments, police said. Police said White was unable to post bail, and was eventually turned over to the Pequannock Police Department, which police said had two of the outstanding warrants. Police said Sgt. Mark Johnson and Ptl. David Terpstra assisted with the arrest.
Also on Jan. 31, Anthony Giantonio, 51, of Hewitt, was arrested for allegedly having an outstanding warrant out of Elmwood Park after Bloomingdale Ptl. Marc Loveland stopped his motor vehicle on Ridge Road. Police said Giantonio was arrested and transported to the police station, where he was able to post bail and was released. Police said Ptl. David Terpstra also assisted with the arrest.

Curtis Yowe, 31, of West Milford, was issued a summons on Friday after Sgt. Mark Gildersleeve found him to be allegedly operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver's license. Yowe was issued a summons, police said, for allegedly also driving an uninsured vehicle, driving an unregistered vehicle and other motor vehicle violations. Police said his car was impounded and he was released after being issued a ticket to appear in court.
Police also responded to a residence on Roy Avenue on Friday when a resident suffered a broken ankle after slipping on ice. Ptl. David Terpstra, Sgt. Mark Johnson, Ptl. Marc Loveland and Ptl. Steven Smith all responded. Police said TriBoro First Aid Squad responded and transported the resident to Chilton Hospital.
