Fire Officials Put Out Fire in Bloomingdale Dumpster
Police said cause of fire is still unknown.

Police and fire officials responded to and extinguished a fire in a Bloomingdale dumpster on May 8 near Star Lake Road and Bailey Avenue.
According to , the cause of the fire is still under investigation, but the responded at 7:53 p.m. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department at 973-838-0158.

Police responded to a report of a theft at a Main Street business on Thursday. While the name of the business was not released, police said a person at the business told police a six-foot Myer snow plow, which was stored outside, had been stolen. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the police department.
Jose Santiago, 18, of Wayne, was arrested on Sunday on an outstanding warrant. Police said Santiago was able to post bail and was released with a ticket to appear in court at a later date.

Maria Londono, 48, of Paterson, was issued a summons Tuesday for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Police said Londono was stopped on Main Street at 1:52 p.m. She was issued a summons and released with a ticket to appear in court at a later date.
