Girls Lacrosse: Unbeaten Mendham Too Much for Kinnelon
Annaheim scores six goals as Colts' second-half rally falls short.
The girls lacrosse team suffered its their third loss of the season, falling 19-9 to unbeaten Mendham on the road in the Morris County Tournament on Saturday afternoon.

IN SHORT
Mendham poured on the scoring early with seven goals within the first 12 minutes of the game and it was just too much for Kinnelon to overcome. After scoring the first goal of the second half to extend the lead to 12-0, Mendham pulled most of its varsity players and Kinnelon took advantage by scoring the next six goals. The Colts had cut the lead to 15-7 with six minutes remaining, before the Mendham starters returned and then closed the game out to preserve the win.

Heidi Annaheim—Led the Colts' charge in the second-half by scoring six goals. Annaheim displayed her speed, agility and toughness as she tried to help her team mount a comeback.

OTHER KEY PERFORMANCES
Haley Fembleaux (Kinnelon), contributed to the Colts second-half effort with two goals. Nicole Graziano (Mendham), had a game-high seven goals.
