Cops: Wife Tried to Stop Impede Husband's Arrest
Woman told police she hadn't seen her husband in a week, but police said he was allegedly found in a bedroom of the home.

A man and his wife were arrested on separate charges Saturday morning after the wife allegedly attempted to obstruct police from arresting her husband on a traffic warrant.
arrived at their Monarch Way home at about 9:30 a.m., to serve James P. Black Jr., 38, a traffic warrant. When they arrived at the door, police said they were met by Dawn M. Black, 30, who allegedly told police that she had not seen her husband in a week and that she was home alone with her son.
Police said a further investigation led them to find the man in a bedroom and no child in the home.

Dawn Black was arrested and charged with obstructing administration of law and hindering apprehension. She was transported to the Kinnelon police station and later released with a ticket to appear in court at a later date. James Black was arrested on the traffic warrant, but posted $300 bail.
