A Clifton man was arrested on burglary charges Wednesday after police said they received an anonymous report around 10:37 a.m. of suspicious activity inside a North Western Avenue, Butler, home.
Vincent Magliarditi, 40, was charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of criminal mischief.
said when they arrived on the scene, Magliarditi appeared to be dis-assembling the home's hot water heater and copper tubing. Police said he was arrested at the home and brought to the police station where Det. Colleen Pascale conducted the investigation.

Police also said Magliarditi allegedly confessed to burglarizing the same home about two weeks earlier.
Magliarditi's bail was set at $50,000 with no 10 percent option, which police said he was unable to post, and he was transported to the Morris County jail with tickets to appear in court at a later date.
