Man With Warrants Totaling Over $1K Arrested in Kinnelon

A Lake Hiawatha man was arrested in Kinnelon Monday after police said they found him to have warrants out for his arrest from Montville, Paterson and Mendam totaling $1,150.

Robert Hoffman, 25, was, driving a 2006 Saturn on Kinnelon Road when he was stopped at 4:21 p.m. by Ptl. Mark Ehrenburg for allegedly having an expired registration.

After a routine records check, Ehrenburg discovered the warrants, police said.

Hoffman was transported to the Kinnelon police station and later turned over to the Mendham Township Police Department.
