Medevac Transports Woman to Hospital After Fall

Police said woman was unconscious when they arrived.

A 60-year-old woman was flown by medevac to Chilton Memorial Hospital Monday morning after police said she was found unconscious in her Round Hill residence where she reportedly fell down a flight of stairs.

Police said the woman's daughter was home at the time and heard a loud noise before finding her mother and calling police. The woman's identity was not released.

Kinnelon Police Lt. John Schwartz said police arrived at the scene at 1:36 a.m. and found the woman unconscious and with a compound fracture to her leg. Schwartz said the woman needed assistnce breathing.

A New Jersey State Police NorthSTAR helicopter landed at and transported her to the hospital, Schwartz said. The woman's condition was not known Monday afternoon.

In addition to the , Tri-Boro First Aid Squad and the Chilton memorial Hospital paramedics ambulance responded to the scene.
