Police: Hit-and-Run Victim Died From Injuries Sunday

A 42-year-old man died Sunday from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run accident in North Bergen about a week ago, according to The Jersey Journal.

Omar Monroig died at Hackensack University Medical Center at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, police said. He was taken there on the evening of March 24 after he was hit by a vehicle while crossing Tonnelle Avenue in North Bergen, according to the Jersey Journal.
