Three Kinnelon Teams Win Babe Ruth Softball Titles

Kinnelon entered three teams into the annual national Babe Ruth Softball tournament last week, and all three teams went undefeated to win Northern New Jersey District 3 titles.

The 8 and under team beat Montville, while the 10 and under and 12 and under teams both were victorious over Rockaway teams to capture championships.

With the wins, all three teams have advanced to the Northern New Jersey State Tournament, which will be held from July 5 to 8. If the teams win in that tournament, they will advance to the Mid-Atlantic regional tournament in Maryland.
