The Triboro Juniors team who finished the regular season undefeated continued their success by capturing the District 2 championship in grand fashion. The Butler/Bloomingdale based team battled a tough Ringwood team and came out on top with a 17-10 victory. Both the Ringwood & Triboro fans in attendance witnessed an unbelievable battle between teams that were passionate & willing to do whatever it took to capture the banner. Solid pitching performances by Brooke Redner & Amber VanderGoot throughout the tournament gave the Triboro team the advantage they needed. Nicole Conti, Dani Andreotta, Samantha Beck, Megan Dranow, Nicole Steiner, and Natalie Kowalski provided the team with the offensive spark coupled with the outstanding defensive play by Kaitlin Cavanagh and Gabrielle Voli. The Troboro girls now move on to play in the Sections.
