Responding to a report of a suspicious person walking in the building’s common hallway with a flashlight around 8:20 p.m., police conducted a search of the property, eventually finding Peter C. Saoud, 39, of Rutherford, hiding in a storage room.
After a subsequent investigation, police arrested Saoud and charged him with criminal trespassing and possession of CDS (Suboxone) without a valid prescription.
