ALDI Hiring For Its Neptune Store (And Others). Here's How To Apply
The grocery store chain will be taking applications Friday at a hiring event at Monmouth Mall.

If you’re looking for work, ALDI in Neptune is hiring -- along with five other ALDI locations in Monmouth and Ocean county.
The catch? You have to go to the hiring event at Monmouth Mall on Friday to apply.
ALDI, a grocery store chain known for its low prices, boasts that it offers wages and benefits that are higher than the national average.

“The hiring event is in support of the ongoing growth of ALDI in the area, offering customers the ALDI brand promise of high-quality grocery items at impossibly low prices,” according to a news release.
The hiring event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Monmouth Mall Entry 3, near Lens Crafters. The positions being filled include both store associates and shift managers for the stores in Brick, Toms River, Howell, Neptune, West Long Branch and Hazlet, according to the news release. Store associates are paid $11.25 per hour, while shift managers are paid $11.25 per hour plus a $4 per hour premium when working as a shift manager.

Employees averaging more than 25 hours a week are eligible for full health insurance benefits and dental coverage, and all employees are invited to participate in the 401(k) program, the release said.
ALDI operates more than 1,400 stores in 32 states, primarily from Kansas to the East Coast and is adding 2,500 jobs nationwide, according to its website.
Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older to apply
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., Monday - Sunday
- Retail experience preferred
- Drug screening and background check
- Ability to lift 45 pounds
