A 23-year-old Berkeley woman was hospitalized after her car hit poll on Double Trouble Road last week, police said.
At 4:43 a.m., police responded to the area of Double Trouble Road near the Garden State Parkway for a single car motor vehicle crash. Upon his arrival, police discovered a vehicle driven by Ashley Gladney, 23, of Bayville had struck a utility pole.
Gladney was transported to Jersey Shore University Hospital. Gladney was charged with careless driving and operating a vehicle while using a wireless device, police said.
