Blown Tire Causes Route 33/34 Rollover Crash In Wall: Police

No one was injured in the crash, police said.

WALL, NJ — A blown tire caused a vehicle to roll over on Route 33/34 on Thursday morning, but no one was injured in the crash, Wall police said.

Patrolwoman Megan Alexander responded to the area of Route 33/34 westbound and Kelly Lane about 10:30 a.m. for a report of an overturned vehicle, Lt. Greg Carpino said.

The investigation revealed that Victoria C. Bran, 26, of Bayonne, was driving a 2001 Ford Explorer on Route 33/34 eastbound when the passenger-side front tire became dislodged, Carpino said.

The Explorer crossed over the center median and overturned on the highway westbound near Kelly Lane, he said. Glendola Fire Rescue and Wall EMS responded to the scene to assist.

Bran was not injured in the accident, he said.

Route 33/34 westbound near Kelly Lane was briefly closed to traffic until the overturned vehicle could be removed, he said.
