Emmons takes Junior Honda Trophy Race at GSQMRC

Seventy-five cars took to the track at Lil' Wall Stadium on a day that started overcast and ended in the early evening under a clear blue, cloudless sky.  Shane Emmons would take the checkers for the Junior Honda Trophy event after setting a fast time of 8.009 seconds around the one-twentieth of a mile oval.  He would continue his winning ways later in the day taking first for the Junior Animal division; making this his second 2-win week in a row.

Other winners on the day would be Cole Stangle in Jr. Novice Blue Plate, Anthony Payne in Senior Honda, Ryan Gerber in Heavy Honda, Joseph Sekelsky in Light 160, Brandon Traino in Heavy 160, Jimmy Potts in Light World Formula and Brandon Grosso for the Heavy World Formula Division.

Racing resumes next Sunday with sign-ins starting at 8:30 and the drivers/handlers meeting at 10 AM.  Events will begin following that meeting.  The club will be holding a Regular Race Day.  For more information, please see the website www.gardenstateqmrc.com   As always, admission is free and refreshments are available on site.
