My Journey with Big Blue- Part 2

I write at 9:54 am Friday from 26,000 feet (again technology is amazing) on the way to our 1st stop in Detroit for a connection to Chicago. I was up at 5:15 and the trip to the airport was largely uneventful. But, the TSA had other plans for our smooth travel plans. Apparently, toothpaste is the terrorists' beauty product of choice so mine was confiscated with a stern reminder that only travel sized products are permitted. We did prepare otherwise though. We are traveling light with only carry-ons for ease of movement. Looking forward to a night in the Windy City. More to come.
