Potts continues winning ways at GSQMRC; Emmons takes two

The Garden State Quarter Midget Club took to the track Sunday, April 29 under cloudless blue skies.  Fifty three drivers in eighty five cars competed in nine divisions on the day.

Jimmy Potts continued with his hot shoe winning all three divisions he entered for the third week in a row (Senior Honda, Light 160 and Light World Formula).  Shane Emmons took two of his three division (Junior Honda and Junior Animal).  Emmons won the Junior Honda race with a last lap pass of the previous two week's winner Sean Vuksanic.  Brandon Grosso also took two of his three divisions by winning Heavy 160 and Heavy World Formula.

Racing continues next Sunday with the Junior Honda division trophy race and regular racing with all other divisions.  Information can be found at www.gardenstateqmrc.com ; sign-ins begin at 8:30 AM and racing starts at 10 AM after the drivers/handlers meeting.  Refreshments available on site and admission, as always, is free.
