Ducky Derby Is Saturday At Allaire
Fundraiser for the living history village to begin at 1 p.m.

Allaire Village is scheduled to host the 6th annual Ducky Derby beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday.
The event, a fundraiser for the village, will feature the "Ducky Splash,'' where children are invited to race a duck down the mill pond for prizes, in addtion to face painting and animal baloons.
Children's ducks are $3 each and all proceeds go toward running the programs at the living history village. All entrants will receive a certificate of authenticity, a letter stating that they have made a tax-deductible contribution and after the race their very own duck that raced in the competition.

For children ages 2 – 5 years, there will be the “Lucky Ducky” event where children for $3 can purchase the opportunity to "fish" for a duck. Each duck has a prize and children can keep their duck.
Visitors are welcome to visit the various historic buildings in the village during the derby.
