DWI Charges, Drug And Warrant Arrests: Wall Police Blotter
The arrests occurred July 1 through July 6, and include five that occurred at the announced DWI checkpoint, police said.
Wall, NJ -- It was another busy holiday weekend for the Wall Township Police Department. The following arrests occurred from Friday, July 1, through early Wednesday, July 6, Lt. Greg Carpino said.
The report includes five arrests -- two involving drunk driving charges -- that occurred at the announced DWI checkpoint Friday night into Saturday, Carpino said.

At 10:37 a.m., Patrolman Orender arrested Josheed Crawford, 31, of New York, N.Y., on charges of possession of controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute, possession of suboxone, possession of controlled dangerous substance (other prescription drugs) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Patrolman Gallagher arrested Christopher Rinaldi, 33, of Connecticut, on charges of possession of controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute, possession of a controlled dangerous substance (other prescription drugs), possession of drug paraphernalia and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance. The arrests were the result of an on-scene investigation subsequent to a motor vehicle stop at 1998 Route 34. Crawford and Rinaldi were released on summons with a pending court date.
At 4:37 p.m., Patrolman Gramlich arrested Matthew Bryk, 25, of Wall, on an active warrant out of Shrewsbury Municipal Court for $114 subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Route # 35 near the intersection with 8th Ave. Byrk was processed and released upon posting full cash bail with a pending court date.
At 9:14 p.m., Sgt. Cadigan arrested Anthony J. Camassa, 22, of West Long Branch, and Sgt. Hurden arrested Ryan M. Houseworth, 22, of Wall, on charges of possession of heroin and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance subsequent to a suspicious person investigation at 1601 Route 35. After processing, both were released with a summons and pending court date.

At 10:39 p.m., Patrolman Wagner arrested Andrew Newman, 27, of Wall, on a charge of possession of marijuana under 50 grams and an active warrant out of Belmar Municipal Court for $770 subsequent to a suspicious person investigation at 17th Avenue and K Street. Judge Joseph Defino set bail at $1,000. After processing, Newman was transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institute in default of bail.
JULY 2
At 12:25 a.m., Patrolman Mason arrested Jacob M. Haefele, 26, of Brigantine, and Patroba O. Michieka, 29, of Plainsboro, on charges of possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia subsequent to a suspicious vehicle investigation at 5004 Route 33/34. Haefele was additionally charged with driving while intoxicated and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance. Michieka was additionally arrested on several active warrants totaling $4,750. Judge Joseph Defino set bail at $6,000 on Michieka’s charges. He was transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institute in default of bail and was still being held as of July 6. Haefele was released after processing with his complaint summons and a pending court date.
At 1:02 a.m., Patrolman Gramlich arrested Shaun P. McNeill, 32, of Howell, on charges of possession of hypodermic needles and possession of drug paraphernalia subsequent to a check at a driving while intoxicated check point at Route 138 and Maxwell Drive. After processing, he was released with a complaint summons and a pending court date.
At 1:11 a.m., Patrolman Marino arrested Miriam Jordan, 58, of Brick, on a charge of driving while intoxicated subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Route 35 and Allaire Rd. After processing, she was released.
At 1:25 a.m., Patrolman Hughes arrested Kevin J. Ferro, 32, of South River, on a charge of driving while intoxicated subsequent to a check at a driving while intoxicated check point at Route 138 and Maxwell Drive. After processing, he was released.
At 1:26 a.m., Patrolman Gavaghan arrested Danielle Rodriguez, 26, of Staten Island, N.Y., on a charge of driving while intoxicated subsequent to a check at a driving while intoxicated check point at Route 138 and Maxwell Drive. After processing, she was released.
At 2:07 a.m., Sgt. Hurden arrested Andrew J. Watson, 29, of Jackson, on a charge of possession of marijuana in an amount under 50 grams subsequent to a check at a driving while intoxicated check point at Route 138 and Maxwell Drive. After processing, he was released with his complaint summons and a pending court date.
At 2:19 a.m., Sgt. Cadigan arrested Daren C. Earle, 50, of Neptune, on charges of possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of hashish and possession of drug paraphernalia. Earle was arrested subsequent to a check at a driving while intoxicated check point at Route 138 and Maxwell Drive. After arrest processing, Earle was released with his complaint summons and a pending court date.
At 4:09 p.m., Patrolman Corey Whitman arrested Alvin Young, 31, of Wall, on a charge of theft and on an active warrant from Newark Municipal Court subsequent to an investigation at 1831 Route 35. After processing, Young was released on summons with a pending court date.
At 8:47 p.m., Patrolman Tancredi arrested passenger, Najee J. Lewis, 25, of the Bronx, N.Y., on a charge of hindering his own apprehension along with an active warrant out of Newark Court for $100. The driver, Jasmine S. Mott, 25, Newark, was arrested on an active warrant out of Newark Court for $5,000. The arrests were subsequent to a motor vehicle stop at 2606 Route 35. Lewis posted bail and was released with his complaint summons and pending court date. Mott was released on her own recognizance.
JULY 3
At 2:34 a.m., Patrolman Mason arrested Joshua A. Ortega, 30, of Perth Amboy, on a charge of driving while intoxicated subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Route 138 and Allenwood Road. After processing, he was released with a summons.
At 1:21 p.m., Patrolman Sprengel arrested Albert Pettit, 30, of Eatontown, on an active warrant out of Neptune Municipal Court for $200 subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Route 18 near Monmouth Boulevard. After processing, Pettit posted bail and was released with a pending court date.
At 4:45p.m., Patrolman Baker arrested Melissa McCormick, 27, of Bloomfield, on an active warrant out of Bloomfield Municipal Court for $115 subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Route 35 near Route 70. After processing, McCormick posted bail and was released with a pending court date.
At 9:13 p.m., Patrolman Spinapont arrested Cynthia P. Brandtjen, 45, of Brick, on a charge of driving while intoxicated subsequent to a motor vehicle stop at 1931 Route 34. She was released after processing with a summons.
JULY 4
At 1:01 a.m., Patrolman Tancredi arrested Michael Davis Jr., 42, of Toms River, on a charge of driving while intoxicated subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Route 138 near Route 18. After processing, he was released with a summons.
At 1:34 a.m., Patrolman Mason arrested Vicki A. Blanche, 49, of Wall, on an active warrant out of Neptune Municipal Court for $500. Blance posted bail and was released.
At 3:42 a.m., Patrolman Kuhl arrested Hilal Akici, 23, of Staten Island, N.Y., on a charge of driving while intoxicated subsequent to a motor vehicle stop at Route 34 near Allaire Rd. After processing, she was released with a summons.
At 11:22 a.m., Patrolman Gavaghan arrested Tenillie Audain, 30, of Newark, on an active warrant out of Roselle Municipal Court of Roselle for $600 and an active warrant out of Springfield Township Municipal Court for $500. She was arrested subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Route 34 near Holly Boulevard. After processing, Audain was released on her own recognizance.
At 2:41 p.m., Patrolman Hughes arrested Jibri Jack, 21, of Somerset, on charges of possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Route 34 near Paynters Road. After processing, he was released with his complaint summons and a pending court date.
JULY 5
At 8:45 p.m., Lt. O’Halloran arrested Daysha S. Kelly, 30, of Seaside Heights, for two active municipal court warrants out of Barnegat and Manahawkin for a total of $1000 subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Route 18 near Monmouth Boulevard. She was processed and released on her own recognizance with pending court dates.
JULY 6
At 1:37 a.m., Patrolman Kuhl arrested Keyisha Franklin, 24, of East Brunswick, on a charge of driving while intoxicated subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Route 138 near New Bedford Road. She additionally was charged with hindering her own apprehension. Patrolman Roland additionally arrested Melanie Cohen, 23, of Parlin, on charges of allowing someone to drive while intoxicated and possession of marijuana in the amount of under 50 grams. Both Franklin and Cohen were processed and released on summons with pending court dates.
At 1:50 a.m., Patrolman McKay arrested Sara M. Urciuli, 22, of South Amboy, on a charge of driving while intoxicated subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Route 138 near Allenwood Road. Also arrested was Maria A. Jonas, 27, of Brick, on charges of allowing someone to drive while intoxicated and obstruction of the administration of law. Both Urciuli and Jonas were processed and released on summons with pending court dates.
At 1:57 a.m., Patrolman Alexander arrested, Juan A. Martinez, 25, of Bridgewater, on charges of possession of marijuana in the amount of under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Route 35 near Wall Church Road. He was processed and released on summons with a pending court date.
