Man Robbed At Gunpoint On Route 34 In Wall: Police
Breaking: The victim said the two men took off in a black Hyundai south on Route 34 after taking his wallet and cash, police said.

WALL, NJ — Wall Township police are searching for two men after a Staten Island man reported being robbed at gunpoint late Monday night.
The victim, 29, was on Route 34 south near Wall Storage North at about 11:30 p.m. Monday when two men approached him and demanded his wallet and money, Detective Lt. Greg Carpino said Tuesday afternoon. The victim told police one of the men was holding a black handgun and that he turned over his wallet with an undisclosed amount of cash and other items, Carpino said.
The two men then drove off south on Route 34 in a four-door black Hyundai, possibly a 2005 or 2006 model that may have had its rear window tinted, Carpino said.

The victim described the man holding the handgun as a skinny dark-skinned black man in his early 30s, about 6 feet tall with a thick, dark beard, wearing a black long-sleeved pullover sweatshirt with a hood over his face. The man also was wearing a big belt with a nickel-colored belt buckle, the victim told police, Carpino said.
Carpino said the victim described the second man as a dark-skinned black man, also in his early 30s, who was heavyset. That man had a thick, dark beard that was longer at the chin and he was wearing a skullcap, the victim told police, Carpino said.
