Dr. Noma Bowe Ph.D. teaches a class about death and dying at Kean University. The course has a three year waiting list! The class is a celebration of life as well as an exploration of the end of life. She is the inspiration for the book “The Death Class: A True Story Abut Life” by Erika Hayasaki. Dr. Bowe teaches by example and experience. She holds a Ph.D. in community health policy and established a successful community project, “Be the Change”. The Be the Change Project brings people together to make things happen in communities. Meet this passionate and compassionate author and educator. Be inspired by her life and story.
