Ocean County Motorcyclist Seriously Injured After Guardrail Crash On Route 138 In Wall

The ramp was shut down for approximately one hour while the on scene investigation took place.

An Ocean County motorcyclist was seriously injured after crashed into a guardrail on Route 138 near Belmar, police said.

According to police:

On Sunday, the Wall Township Police Department responded to the ramp from Route 138 east to Route 35 north for a report of a motorcycle collision.

On-scene investigation revealed that a Jackson man was operating his 2009 red Honda CBR when he lost control of the motorcycle and was ejected and collided with the guardrail.

The operator of the motorcycle was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center by Wall Township EMS and MONOC paramedics with serious injuries.

The ramp was shut down for approximately one hour while the on scene investigation took place. The collision is being investigated by Sgt. Chad Clark #143 and Ptlm. Justin Hudson #161.
