Police Called 50 Times To Monmouth County Home Where Woman Was Stabbed: Report
The report says police responded to calls for everything from "welfare" checks to EMS calls.

OCEAN TOWNSHIP, NJ — Ocean Township police answered calls more than 50 times in the last five years to a Rubin Lane home where a woman was stabbed last week, according to a report.
NJ.com reported that the woman was seriously injured in the stabbing, which police have said was the result of a domestic dispute. The woman was stabbed multiple times and had to undergo emergency surgery at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune for life-threatening injuries in the incident, which happened Nov. 9, NJ.com reported.
A 60-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder and other weapons offenses in the attack, NJ.com reported. The man also spit on a police officer while he was being arrested, the publication reported.

The home was located inside Cedar Village at Ocean, an age-restricted community, the report said.
Of the more than 50 calls, nearly half were were medical-related or are "welfare checks" — when police respond to a home to check up on an occupant typically after they are contacted by a family member, NJ.com reported.

There were two trespassing calls the day before the stabbing was reported to police, the report said.
