Second Turkey Derby Practice Saturday At Wall Stadium
Racers gearing up for year-ending event

Racers on Saturday will continue to get in some last-minute time on the track when Wall Stadium holds the last of two practice sesssions ahead of the 38th annual Turkey Derby.
The Turkey Derby, the Route 34 stadium's most heavily attended event of the year, is slated for the daylight hours of Nov. 25 and 26th.
Saturday's scheduled practice session is the last of two paid sessions hosted by the third-mile speedway, located at Hurley Pond Road. Drivers and teams are required to pay for the practice session. Grandstands are open free to spectators, officials said.
Practice will run from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and is open to cars from all divisions competing during the season-ending classic.
Turkey Derby XXXVIII is a two-day racing tradition that caps the track's racing season. On Nov. 25, practice is scheduled for 8:30 a.m., while qualifying will start at noon and feature racing will begin at 2:00 p.m.

On Nov. 26, practice will start at 8:30 a.m., with qualifying set for 11:00 a.m. and feature racing set for 1:00 p.m.
Pit gates will open at 6:30 a.m., with pre-purchased grandstand seating opening at 9:30 a.m. and grandstand seating opening at 10:00 a.m. each day of the Derby.
Friday main event action will feature the paved Sportsman cars, the dirt Sportsman cars, Late Models, Legend Cars and the Factory Stocks. On Saturday, the Touring Modifieds, Wall Modifieds, dirt Modifieds, TQ Midgets and Street Stocks will all see main event action, officials said.
