Toms River Man Who Taped Child Sexual Assault To Be Sentenced

A Toms River man who pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of a minor, sexually abusing a toddler and streaming footage of the assault over the Internet will be sentenced to prison Thursday.

Rodford W. Brindley of Toms River taped the sexual assault of a 14-month-old he was babysitting, according to the U.S. Attorney Office.

According to the criminal complaint, a special agent with the FBI attests that Brindley sexually assaulted the boy and streamed footage of the alleged attack over the Internet while believing he was speaking to a woman in Ohio who was in fact an undercover detective with the Westerville Police Department.
