Towing Company Building Ablaze In Wall: Police

At least eight fire companies are fighting the fire; Hurley Pond Road is closed in the area, police said.

Wall, NJ -- Firefighters are battling a fire at Taylor's Towing on Hurley Pond Road, Wall police said Thursday morning.

Lt. Greg Carpino said police responded to the fire at 9:35 a.m. and at least eight fire departments are battling the blaze.

No injuries have been reported, he said. West Hurley Pond Road is closed from Carmerville Road to Lakewood/Farmingdale Road.

The following fire departments are on scene: Glendola Fire Department, South Wall Fire Department, West Belmar Fire Department, Tinton Falls Station 36-1 and 36-2 Fire Departments, Neptune Station 34-3 Fire Department, Spring Lake Fire Department, Navy Weapons Earle Fire Department and Squankum Fire Department, Carpino said.

He said more information on the fire would be released later Thursday.
