Wall Foundation Holding Benefit Friday
Wall Foundation for Excellence in Education holding fundraiser at Barlow's Flower Farm
A few tickets are yet available for the Wall Foundation For Educational Excellence's annual fundraiser to be held Friday at Barlow's Flower Farm on Sea Girt Avenue.
The event runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will feature food, a small gift auction and 50/50 raffle. The theme is "Tropical Escape," so beach casual attire is welcome.
The foundation raises money toward purchasing supplimental educational materials for the Wall Township School District. In the past, the foundation has purchased the high school's television station and a greenhouse.
The foundation wants to install three telescopes on one of the schools, capable of generating live feeds as well as still photos. The organization in the next two years hopes to raise $40,000 to cover the cost.
