Wall Man Arrested After ID'd As Suspicious Person, Outstanding Brick Warrant

A Wall man was arrested after he was identified as suspicious person and found to have an outstanding warrant out of Brick, police said.

A Wall man was arrested Thursday after he was identified as suspicious person and found to have an outstanding warrant out of Brick, police said.

At approximately 11:00 p.m., members of the Wall Township Police Department were dispatched to the area of 18th Ave and the Quick Mart Convenience Store for a suspicious person call.

Patrols arrived on scene and encountered Zachary Hayes, 22, of Wall Township standing outside the closed business. Hayes had an outstanding warrant for his arrest issued of the Brick Township Municipal Court in the amount of $189.

He was subsequently arrested on this warrant and transported to the Wall Township Police Department where he was ROR’d. At the Wall Township Police Department Zachary was additionally charged with being in possession of CDS. He was later released on a summons pending a court date.
