
A 27-year-old Toms River man was arrested Thursday for burglary after police discovered him at the Budget Inn Motel in Wall, police said.
The suspect, identified as Daniel E. Cobb , was eventually arrested and charged with the burglary to a residence on Wall Church Road.
On Thursday, the Wall Township Police responded to a reported residential burglary in progress at a private residence on Wall Church Road in the central part of the Township.

An investigation revealed that a subject had forced his way into the residence and fled when the resident arrived home.
The Wall Township Police Department conducted a thorough search of the area which eventually led to the discovery of a suspect in the area of the Budget Inn Motel on Rt 35 near Wall Church Road.

Cobb was processed at Wall Township Police Headquarters and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institute in default of bail.
