Assemblyman Says Company Promised Full Power By Friday

After days without power, Assemblyman Jon Bramnick joined chorus of officials demanding action.

Assemblyman Jon Bramnick, R-Dist. 21, issued a statement at 5:30 p.m. detailing assurrance he said he received from representatives of JCP&L.

"Out of 37,000 customers in Somerset County, 7,300 remain without power; 2,400 will have their power restored today, 3,000 additional customers will have their power restored by the end of the day tomorrow," he said. "The remainder of customers will have their power restored by Sept. 2nd."

Details on which 1,900 customers would have to wait until Friday were not available. As of 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, the company is reporting 1,836 customers without power in Warren.
