Digestive Healthcare Center Welcomes Kristen Lee, MD

Kristen Lee, MD has joined Digestive Healthcare Center (DHC) as a member of its staff of distinguished gastroenterologists. Dr. Lee will see patients at DHC’s office in Hillsborough, NJ.

Dr. Lee, a gastroenterologist, specializes in capsule endoscopy, colon cancer screening and detection, diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower endoscopy, management of chronic liver disease, and management of complex inflammatory bowel disease. Dr. Lee also specializes in women’s gastrointestinal diseases and conditions, and will help run the practice’s Women’s Wellness Center.

Dr. Lee attended Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, NY where she received her medical degree with academic distinction. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering with honors from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Lee has also received numerous academic awards and a research-training award from the National Institutes of Health. She finished her post-graduate training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, NY, a renowned center where doctors discovered and characterized Crohn’s Disease in 1932.

Digestive Healthcare Center is a group of physicians specializing in gastroenterology, the medical field dedicated to digestive health. DHC is located in Central Jersey with offices in Hillsborough, Somerville, and Warren, and also has privileges at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital – Somerset. Founded in 1989, DHC is affiliated and co-located with the Central New Jersey Ambulatory Surgery Center in Hillsborough where most of their procedures are performed.
