From 'Road Closed' to 'Road Work'
Some signs are still up, but the bridge on Mountain Avenue is open.

Work crews are cleaning up the area around Cory's Brook in preparation of fully opening Mountain Avenue, after completion of the four-month bridge replacement project.
The nearly $800,000 project was not expected to be completed until early November, but despite any "road closed" signs remaining, the road is open.
The new bridge is six feet wider than the previous structure, and should be less prone to flooding after storms.
