The Watchung Arts Center has announced its summer Yoga classes. The schedule consists of a four-week session for students on all levels, on Thursday mornings in July, and three different eight-week programs on Tuesdays or Thursdays evenings beginning July 7.
The four-week session will be led by Susan Ahlstrom who has been teaching yoga since 1996. Susan is registered with Yoga Alliance. Ongoing studies include Developmental Patterns & Yoga and Infant Developmental Movement Education. She also took advanced studies in Yoga with a number of teachers, including BKS and Geeta Iyengar.
Renata Cardinal, who will lead the eight-week sessions, started training in the mid-nineties with Certified Iyengar Teacher Theresa Rowland and became a certified Studio Yoga Teacher in 1998. She was certified as an Iyengar Yoga Instructor in 2004, and is also registered at the 500 Level with Yoga Alliance. She continues to study with Ms Rowland and takes many workshops and classes with renowned Yoga Teachers
The cost of the four-week session is $80 for all four classes or $22 per individual class. For the eight-week classes, the fee is $120 for 6 out of 8 classes or $22 per individual class
