North Plainfield Native, Molly Price of NBC-TV’s “Third Watch” Reads To Students on Read Across America Day to be shown on TV and Internet.

Pre-kindergarten and second grade pupils at Lafayette Elementary School in Bound Brook, NJ celebrated Dr. Suess’ 100^th Birthday, during 2004’s Read Across America Day The event which took place March 2, 2004 featured actress Molly Price as the special guest reader.  Price, born in North Plainfield, NJ, is the daughter of retired Bound Brook Special Education Teacher Mary Price.  She is best known for her roll as Officer/Detective Faith Yokas on the NBC-TV action crime drama “Third Watch” that aired from 1999-2005.  Also featured is a sing-along with New York City based guitarist Marie Gabrielle.

 The hour long program airing Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 9:00 am with repeats on Thursday, March 7^th at 9:00 am and 5:30 pm and again on Saturday March 9^th at 1:00 pm on Piscataway Community Television (PCTV) as well as streaming live on the PCTV website (http://piscatawaytv.peg.tv) will feature the following Dr. Suess Stories read by Molly Price:  “The Foot Book: Dr. Seuss’s Wacky Book of Opposites, “Green Eggs and Ham” and “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!”
