Composite Sketch Of Green Brook Armed Robbery Suspect Released

SOMERVILLE, N.J. - Somerset County Prosecutor Geoffrey D. 
Soriano, Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of County Detectives 
Timothy Fitzgerald, and Green Brook Chief of Police Martin Rasmussen 
announce that detectives have released a composite sketch of the individual 
suspected of committing the May 20, 2014 armed robbery at the Taco Bell 
restaurant on U.S. Highway Route 22 East, in Green Brook. 

The suspect has been described as a Hispanic male, approximately 
6 feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing khaki shorts, a black long 
sleeve jacket, black sneakers, and a baseball cap with the New York Yankee 
emblem. 

Prosecutor Soriano states that at approximately 9:11 p.m. the suspect, 
armed with a handgun, approached an employee and announced the robbery. 
The employee complied with the demands of the suspect and turned over 
an undisclosed amount of currency. The suspect fled from the restaurant on 
foot in an unknown direction.
