The annual Green Brook Police Department Awards Ceremony was then led by Chief G. Christopher Kurz.
“This ceremony is to recognize officers who’ve performed exceptional acts beyond the regular call of duty during the past year," Kurz said. "Though I'm proud to say our officers continually strive to provide a high level of service for our community, there are times when the unexpected occurs and the officers are challenged to perform acts that save lives or otherwise keep people safe.”
