Green Brook Police Promote Two Officers
The Green Brook Police Department announces the promotion of two officers following the retirement of Lieutenant Randy Stratton
Green Brook, NJ -- The Green Brook Police Department announces the promotion of two officers following the retirement of Lieutenant Randy Stratton, who retired from service with the department on Jan. 31.
In a swearing-in ceremony conducted by Green Brook Mayor Nancy Stoll during the Feb. 1 township committee meeting, Sergeant Hans Case was promoted to the position of Lieutenant of Police and Detective Daniel Lanzafama was promoted to Sergeant of Police.
Lieutenant Case is a 25 year veteran of the Green Brook Police Department who has served in varying capacities including detective, traffic safety officer, and patrol supervisor and maintains extensive expertise in accident reconstruction.

Sergeant Lanzafama is a 15 year veteran of the Green Brook Police Department who has served in varying capacities including detective and field training officer, and has organized many community events including the annual ‘Turkey Trot Run’ and ‘Breakfast with Santa’.
Said Chief Kurz, “Lieutenant Case and Sergeant Lanzafama are outstanding officers who have provided years of dedicated service to the township and have proven themselves as highly capable contributors. These men are well respected by their fellow officers, and I anticipate they will continue to serve the community at a high level in their new positions. In addition, I would like to congratulate Lt. Randy Stratton on his retirement after a career of dedicated service. He was great part of our organization and I wish him all the best in his future endeavors”.
