Resident Helps Police Arrest Wanted Man In North Plainfield
"We received an anonymous tip from a resident who saw this post and this subject has been arrested and charged," North Plainfield Police say

NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ — A North Plainfield resident sent in an anonymous tip to police to help identify a man wanted for convincing another resident to cash a fake check at a local Wells Fargo bank in February, police report.
"The North Plainfield Police Department would like to take this opportunity to say Thank You to the members of the North Plainfield Community. We received an anonymous tip from a resident who saw this post and this subject has been arrested and charged," police posted on Facebook.
The man was charged with forgery and theft by deception and additional charges of forgery and theft by deception are still pending, police reported.
