Watchung Local Among 4 Arrested For Shoplifting: Blotter

WATCHUNG, NJ — Watchung local among four arrested for shoplifting last week in the borough, police report.
Watchung Police Blotter:
On Oct. 10 at 12:58 p.m.: Alex Gabriel, 24, of Plainfield was arrested for shoplifting $39.96 worth of unpaid merchandise (an Otter Box cell phone case) from Walmart on Route 22 West. He was processed and released on charged.

On Oct. 9 at 3:59 p.m.: Giovanna Brooks, 32, of Summit was arrested for shoplifting work boots valued at $150 from Sears on Route 22 East in a bag she was carrying. She also had warrants out of Berkeley Heights, Kennliworth and Neward. She was processed and released.
On Oct. 9 at 9:32 p.m.: Brian Patrusevich, 31, of Watchung was arrested for shoplifting $138 worth of unpaid merchandise from Walmart on Route 22 West. He was processed and released.

On Oct. 9 at 8:57 p.m.: Evelyn Sandresmejia, 29, of Plainfield was arrested for being an unlicensed driver and having an outstanding warrant out of Newark for $250. She was processed and released after posting full bail.
On Oct. 8 at 5:33 p.m.: Devon Cox, 20, of Florham Park was arrested for having an outstanding warrant out of Newark for $200. He was also charged with Misuse of Intransit Plates, Fictitious Plates and Lending/Using Registration Plates of Another. He was processed and released on summonses after posting cash bail.
On Oct. 6 at 1:12 p.m.: Stephen Lancaster, 47, of Plainfield was arrested during a motor vehicle stop for Possession of CDS under 50 grams, Hindering Apprehension/Destruction of Evidence and issued a summonses for failure to maintain lane. He was processed and released on summonses.
On Oct. 8 at 3:06 a.m.: Archangel Vargas, 35, of Plainfield was arrested for DUI following a motor vehicle accident on Route 22. He was charged with DUI, Refusal to Submit to Breath Samples and Reckless Driving. He was released to a responsible party.
On Oct. 7 at 3:46 p.m.: Bethune Authorine, 37, of Plainfield was arrested for shoplifting two boxes of perfume from Sears on Route 22 East. She was processed and released on summonses.
On Oct. 2 at 11:20 a.m.: Levaughn Allen, 28, of Plainfield during a motor vehicle stop on Route 22 for having three outstanding warrants out of Dunellen Municipal Court for $750, Cranford Municipal Court for $500 and Westfield Municipal Court for $137. She was processed and driving while suspended. She was unable to post bail and was transported to Dunellen Police Department.
