3 Wayne Football Teams Earn Top 25 Tri-State Rankings
Wayne Hills, Wayne Valley, and DePaul Catholic were all ranked high by News 12 Varsity.
WAYNE, N.J. — Three of the four township high school football programs were included named to News12 Varsity's Tri-State Top 25 list.
Wayne Hills finished the season ranked No. 6. The Section 1, Group 4 champs beat crosstown rival Wayne Valley in overtime of the championship game Sunday at MetLife Stadium. The Patriots scored 14 unanswered points to tie the game and send it to overtime.

Wayne Valley High School was ranked No. 20. The Indians were dominant in the group championship game early. Quarterback Grant Ferrauilo was 21 of 36 for 267 yards and threw three touchdowns.
DePaul Catholic finished the season ranked No. 17. The Spartans lost to St. Joseph in the Non-Public Group 3 final 26-17.
